The SmartFan® is the world's first decentralised home ventilation system that can be controlled with the "Alexa" voice assistant from Amazon Echo and the "Google Assistant". It enables getAir ventilation systems to respond to your voice – so you can let fresh air into your home and select your preferred ventilation mode from the comfort of your favourite armchair.
Our smart getAir systems have an integrated air quality sensor.
This high-tech sensor not only measures humidity and temperature, but also air quality. Air quality includes information on the current concentration of pollutants in a room. Exhaust gases, mould spores as well as pigments and building materials – referred to as VOCs (volatile organic compounds), which are released from paints, furniture or flooring – can accumulate in the ambient air.
Particularly in modern, highly insulated, airtight buildings, the pollutant content can quickly rise to an unhealthy concentration. If the pollutant level is too high, the appropriate mode is activated fully automatically to supply sufficient fresh air and remove the stale room air – including the pollutants. An optional fine dust filter is suitable for particularly high standards of health protection.
A BUS system connects all SmartFan® systems either serially or in a star arrangement. The control unit can be installed anywhere within a home’s electrical system. BUS signals can travel a maximum distance of 60-70 m. We recommend 4-core LiYY cables.
